Tacita Murrell

Tacita was admitted as a solicitor in 1998 and has been a partner of the firm since 2001. Tacita practices exclusively in family law and regularly conducts proceedings in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia, inclusive of the Appellant jurisdiction.

 

Tacita strengths are highlighted in her advocacy work, namely her adaptability to either a mediation or court-based setting and capacity to think on her feet due to her abundant knowledge of the principles and procedures of family law. Tacita is known for her frank, no-nonsense advice and her ability to balance applicable legal principles with commerciality at every stage of her matters. 

 

Outside of work, Tacita can be found catching up on her book club novel at the eleventh hour or escorting her children to a myriad of sporting events and extra-curricular activities.


Grant Gayler

Grant was admitted as a solicitor in 1995 and has been a partner of the firm since 2000.

His primary areas of practice are personal injury, estate and will litigation, commercial litigation, wills and estates and conveyancing.

Grant routinely conducts matters in the District Court, Supreme Court, and the Personal Injury Commission.


Gregory Reynolds

Gregory has been admitted as a solicitor since 2005.


His primary areas of practice are conveyancing, criminal law, wills and estates and commercial and business law.

Caitlin (Caity) Walker

Caity joined Farrell Lusher as a solicitor in January 2023 and practices exclusively in family law. She completed her Bachelor of Laws with Charles Sturt University in mid-2022 and was admitted to practice as a lawyer that same year. Prior to this, Caity worked in a firm in Canberra that practiced exclusively in family law for eight months and worked part time in a commercial firm during her final year of studies in 2021.

 

Outside of work, Caity is a keen equestrian and competes in show jumping competitions with her horses around regional NSW. She will otherwise be found café hopping with friends or spending time outside with her dog, Harvey.


Hayley Challender

Hayley joined Farrell Lusher in 2023. Her primary areas of practice & interest include criminal law, estate litigation, estate planning and administration, medical negligence, and residential conveyancing.


Between July 2017 and October 2021, Hayley worked as a Legal Officer and Solicitor of the Coroner’s Court of Victoria. Earlier, she worked as a Clerk of the Coroner’s Court of New South Wales whilst completing her law honours thesis. Hayley has enjoyed the early opportunity to instruct and appear beside preeminent Legal Counsel – inspiring her passion for litigation and advocacy.



Outside of work, Hayley and her wonderful husband are often at her parents’ beautiful farm or otherwise travelling to visit family and friends. However, she is most content when cozy at home, surrounded by her menagerie of personality-plus pets, reading a book.
